Israel, officially known as the state of Israel, is a country located in the Middle East. It is a small but diverse country with an elongated coastline on the eastern side of the Medittarian sea and a small window on the Red Sea at the Gulf of Eilat. This place is known for its pleasant climate of hot summers and conciliatory humid winters. Israel ranks within the top 20 nations in the world.

The rate of unemployment in Israel is much lower than its been in decades. The hotel business is booming in Israel, and there has been a severe lack of workers in the industry. According to recent data, nearly 25 million people were staying overnight in Israel hotels in a year. Around 4000 workers were needed to provide world-class services to the customers, but the requirements were not met. The level of service and hospitality is in miserable condition. The customers have to wait for a long time until the workers get free and get their rooms ready.

The ISRAEL HOTEL ASSOCIATION is a hotel representative body of Israel’s hotel industry. The IHA works as an umbrella organisation dedicated to the professional enhancement of the hotel industry. There is a lack of thousands of workers in hotels of Eilat, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv. Yoav Bachar, the Deputy Director of personnel in the Israel Hoteliers Association, confessed in an interview that they bring hundreds of workers every day including many Bedouin. Bedouins are a group of nomadic Arab people who have historically inhabited the desert regions in North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, Iraq, and the Levant from the south and the Arab communities in the ‘Triangle’ to Tel Aviv to fill in the positions. Tel Aviv is one of the most crowded cities in Israel. The city is inarguably Israel’s financial sector and home to the majority of embassies, large reputed universities and top multinational companies.

However, there is no way found to bring in workers to Eilat. Eilat is Israel’s southernmost city with a mere population. It has a very busy port, a popular resort at the northern tip of Red sea. The city is a tourist destination for domestic and international tourists visiting Israel. Due to the lack of workforce, the managers have to do the humdrum jobs usually done by waiters and housekeepers.

Jerusalem is a luxurious city in Israel. It is one of the oldest cities in the world. This ancient city is roughly divided into four significant quarters, the Muslim

Quarter, Christian Quarter, Armenian Quarter and Jewish Quarter. Israel maintains its primary governmental institutions in Jerusalem.

The prices of top hotels like Dan Hotels, Fattal Hotels and Israel are already touching the sky. In the case of a crisis, they have to hire Sudanese refugees to work in Eilat and the Dead sea. The managers have to find housing for them and their families plus pay the insurance and other expenses as well as pay the salaries like any other employees. Therefore Sundanese workers become more expensive than other Israeli workers. There is a condition where hotels are constantly embezzling workers who were willing to work for a wage. Bachar, also stated that Israeli would not work as a hotel staff even if they are offered a higher salary. The government could cut off the cost of vacations by lowering or exempting the hotels to pay local property tax, similar to European countries.
